U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced an inflation adjustment for certain H.R. 1 immigration-related fees, effective for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026. These fee increases will take effect on January 1, 2026.

This adjustment reflects the inflation rate from July 2024 through July 2025, a mandate required annually under the H.R. 1 legislation.

The new fees will apply to benefit requests postmarked on or after January 1, 2026. If you submit a request after this date that requires one of these adjusted H.R. 1 fees, you must include the new, correct amount for the specific application you are filing. Failure to include the correct fee may result in the rejection of your application.

USCIS will continue to adjust certain fees annually for inflation as required by H.R. 1. Information regarding the inflationary adjustment for the immigration parole fee will be published in a separate Federal Register notice in the future.
